This project was done for Caliber, a company specialized in in-car audio and car entertainment products. The goal was to create an automotive inspired speaker grill for a new line of marine speakers. After two sketch ideation phases and a concept detailing phase, the project quickly moved into the 3D modeling phase. After supporting the client with the creation of Class-A surfaces, the project was handed over to Caliber’s in-house development team for further production detailing, and ultimately brought to market as the Caliber CSM16RGB in both black and white finishes.
